Our Approach
Every watch that enters our workshop receives individualized attention. We do not employ assembly-line processes or impose artificial time constraints. The complexity of mechanical watchmaking demands patience, precision, and a willingness to adapt techniques to the specific caliber at hand.
Our methodology begins with careful observation. Before any disassembly, we listen to the movement, measure its performance on timing equipment, and inspect visible components. This initial assessment informs the service path forward and helps us identify any irregularities that require particular attention.
When servicing is required, we follow established protocols developed through decades of collective horological experience. Movements are disassembled completely, with each component catalogued and inspected. Cleaning takes place in professional ultrasonic baths using appropriate solutions. Worn parts are identified and, when necessary, replaced with period-correct components sourced through our network of specialists.
Reassembly is performed with meticulous attention to proper lubrication — different oils for different friction points, applied in precise quantities. The movement is then regulated in multiple positions and observed over an extended period to ensure consistent rate stability. Only when the timepiece meets our standards do we consider the work complete.
Movement Health Screening
A non-invasive evaluation of the watch's mechanical condition. The timepiece is placed on a multi-position timing instrument and measured for rate, amplitude, beat error, and lift angle. Results are interpreted by an experienced horologist and compiled into a clear, jargon-free report that explains the watch's current state and any areas warranting attention.
Key Benefits
- No case opening required for most modern calibers
- Comprehensive timing analysis in multiple positions
- Clear written report with recommendations
- Same day or next business day turnaround
Process
- 1.Initial visual inspection and documentation
- 2.Multi-position timing measurement
- 3.Analysis of rate, amplitude, beat error, lift angle
- 4.Written report with interpretation and recommendations

Thorough Mechanical Overhaul
A complete, methodical service of the movement from crown to case-back. The caliber is removed from the case, fully disassembled, and each part cleaned in a professional multi-stage bath. All friction points receive appropriate lubricants. The keyless works are greased and tested for smooth winding and setting action. The automatic module (if present) is serviced separately — rotor bearings cleaned and lubricated, reversing wheels checked for slip.
Key Benefits
- Complete disassembly and professional cleaning
- Proper lubrication of all friction points
- Six-position regulation with 24-hour observation
- Gasket replacement and water resistance testing
Process
- 1.Movement removal and initial inspection
- 2.Complete disassembly to individual components
- 3.Multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning
- 4.Precision reassembly with proper lubrication
- 5.Multi-position regulation and observation
- 6.Water resistance testing and final inspection

Collector Preservation Service
A conservation-first service philosophy for collectible and vintage watches. Every decision favors preserving the timepiece's original state — aged dials are stabilized, not refinished; patinated cases are cleaned gently without polishing away history; original hands and crowns are retained unless structurally compromised. When parts must be replaced, originals are sourced through a network of specialist dealers. The owner is consulted at each decision point.
Key Benefits
- Conservation approach preserves originality and value
- Original parts sourced through specialist network
- Client consultation at every decision point
- Detailed conservation report and returned parts
Process
- 1.Comprehensive documentation of watch condition
- 2.Detailed consultation regarding conservation approach
- 3.Sourcing of period-correct original parts if needed
- 4.Gentle cleaning and stabilization procedures
- 5.Movement servicing with conservation priorities
- 6.Detailed report and return of replaced components
